A family home with a spacious room concept

A generous room concept with 8 ½ rooms on two floors plus expansion potential in the basement and a spacious outdoor area with covered seating, lounge and large balcony: These are the key features of this modern family house, where there is hardly any fear that it could ever become too cramped for the residents.
The construction contract with us was already in place before the purchase of the property. The house plans were drawn up by the owners themselves, based on the house concept of the general contractor "Blickfang Plus." We then implemented these plans exactly as requested, without any restrictions. The slightly elevated position provides not only panoramic views but also plenty of light and a sense of spaciousness. The layout is clear and uncluttered. On the ground floor, the open-plan living area offers so much space that the owners could easily host a dance party. Only the straight staircase leading upstairs, framed by brick stringers, draws the eye; otherwise, the view can wander freely through the large French doors to the outside. A breakfast bar separates the U-shaped kitchen from the dining area; but even here, the sightlines and communication axes are neither obstructed nor interrupted. The kitchen is a dream: naturally equipped with all modern appliances and visually striking thanks to the contrasting colors of the cabinet fronts. A practical storage room right next door provides additional storage space; this ensures that nothing unnecessary is left lying around and disrupts the clean, uncluttered look of the kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling sliding windows in the dining and living area flood the entire space with natural light. Separated by doors on this level are only the storage room, the guest room, and the guest WC.
Upstairs are the family's private quarters and an additional study. At the rear of the house, the parents have created a suite with a dressing room and bathroom. The bathroom, almost a spa, is tastefully designed with a spacious corner bathtub, double vanity, walk-in shower, and toilet. The wood-paneled ceiling on the gently sloping roof provides a warm contrast to the room's elegant coolness. Since the two children also have their rooms upstairs, there is another bathroom with a shower and toilet. The children's rooms and a study have direct access to the balcony, which provides shelter from the elements for the patio on the ground floor. The basement houses the utility and laundry room but is so spacious that further expansion possibilities exist. Thanks to the sloping terrain, for example, a self-contained apartment could easily be integrated here. An excellent idea is to incorporate the roof of the carport into the living space and use it for a terrace.
