Building a house with confidence and cost overview
A kitchen fitter knows a thing or two about kitchen quality. And after 25 years in the construction industry, this fitter also has a clear vision of what the house should look like. Since he and his family had long dreamed of owning their own home, they started planning ahead. Over the course of his career, the homeowner had installed several kitchens in our Atmos houses. Therefore, it was clear to the family: Atmoshauswould be their construction partner for their new home. "The many positive experiences we've had with them were confirmed with our own dream house," says the homeowner. "Everything went smoothly."
The house was built near Lucerne. The couple and their twins already lived in this area and wanted to keep it that way. The proximity to their workplace and the familiar routines for their two daughters were ideal. But the family desired more space to suit their own needs. This wish was fulfilled by the house's simple design and the cozy interior layout. The house, with its shed roof, has a large plot of land and offers unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape.
This view can be enjoyed not only from the patio. The house has large windows that also offer a glimpse of the mountains. The ground floor has an open-plan design, providing space for cooking, dining, and cozy gatherings. A kitchen counter with ample storage visually separates the kitchen. The owners opted for two different flooring materials: parquet for the living areas and tiles for the kitchen and bathrooms. A shower room is located on the ground floor, which is convenient for overnight guests who can stay in a separate room opposite. Currently, the twins share a room on the upper floor, but the three rooms on this level offer other possibilities. The spacious bathroom with double vanity and bathtub is designed for easy access from the hallway. High-quality materials were used throughout, from the roof down to the basement, which houses the building services and laundry facilities.
The fact that we guaranteed cost transparency throughout the entire construction process gave the family planning security. Their individual wishes were implemented without additional costs, and the family enjoyed the selection process. However, choosing a kitchen wasn't exactly easy with a husband who knows a lot about kitchens, the homeowner admits. The overall conclusion is overwhelmingly positive: "Everything is exactly as we wanted it, and we would build it the same way again.".
