Project description

Dreamlike living with the ambiance of a holiday residence

The tent roof is enjoying increasing popularity in our latitudes as well. Originally, it was primarily used as a house roof in the Mediterranean region; in this country, it was almost exclusively seen as the crowning element of towers. Perhaps it is precisely this blend of coziness and southern joie de vivre that fascinates architects and homeowners about this roof shape. The house presented here exudes a touch of vacation and southern serenity at first glance. This is not solely due to the tent roof. The way the building is integrated into the landscape, the terraced grounds – everything is reminiscent of a well-maintained holiday resort. From the various outdoor spaces on three floors, one can gaze out at the lake and distant hills. The radiant white of the facade reflects the sunlight, which large windows bring into the stylishly designed rooms. The hillside location allows for the basement to be habitable. In fact, in addition to cellar, laundry, and utility rooms, it would offer enough space to integrate a complete granny flat. The ground floor is captivating in its sheer size and its consistently open design. Only the entrance hall, a guest WC, and the practical storage room next to the kitchen are separated from the spacious living area, where cooking, dining, and relaxed conversation in the seating area are possible.
In summer, the patio invites you outdoors. From here, you can enjoy the view of the lawn, a sun terrace of over 55 square meters, and beyond to the enchanting lake landscape. If this magnificent view isn't enough, you can head up to the balcony. The way there leads through the large master bedroom with a separate dressing room and direct access to the spacious bathroom. Anyone fortunate enough to sit here under the large sunshade and let their gaze wander even further will definitely feel like they're on vacation. Upstairs, the tent roof again demonstrates its special advantages. The sloping ceilings lend the rooms an exclusive charm and create a feeling of comfort and protection. Thus, here, where the roof peak rises towards the sky in the middle of the square floor plan, the southern flair gives way for a moment to the grace of a tower.

Feedback from F. & S., Bottenwil

"You only really get to know a company when there are problems – and Atmoshaus passed this test with flying colors. We would recommend Atmoshaus without hesitation."
