Warm family nest with a wooden facade

After viewing several existing houses, the couple soon realized it would be difficult to find something that perfectly matched their vision. With us, they finally made a crucial step forward. We found and suggested several vacant building plots for the family. The perfect plot, over 1000 square meters, bordered an agricultural zone. Their desire for ample space for a large garden was thus fulfilled. However, other factors also played a decisive role in choosing the location. The house was to be built close to their friends and family, in a quiet, traffic-free neighborhood surrounded by greenery. "An additional highlight is the proximity to the public swimming pool," the young family explains.

The family originally wanted to fulfill their dream of a timber-framed house. However, after thorough research, they discovered that solid construction was not only much more affordable but also far more flexible in its realization. We were able to perfectly implement their vision of an open-plan house with plenty of wood and natural materials. "The price-performance ratio also absolutely met our expectations. With this solid-construction house and its beautiful wooden facade, we were able to find an excellent compromise." The couple greatly appreciated being kept informed about the costs at all times. As a trained painter and craftsman, the homeowner was able to handle much of the work himself. This allowed the family to save money, which they could then invest in high-quality interior finishes. Despite being solid construction, the house has a very natural feel thanks to the wooden facade.
Wood was also used in the interior in the form of parquet flooring and a varnished wooden ceiling. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen with its island and dining area is visually separated from the living room by a small wall. The family has access to the spacious outdoor area through the wide window front, which features a wooden terrace and an adjacent lawn. A small bathroom and a storage room complete the ground floor layout.
The upper floor, accessible via an open, single-flight staircase, houses the master bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom, as well as two children's bedrooms. The children also have their own bathroom. The homeowners greatly appreciate this private area on the upper floor – the dressing room and the master bathroom, in particular, enhance their sense of well-being. The entire house has a light-filled and open atmosphere – one can sense that a young family has found their happiness here in a truly wonderful location.
