"Do you remember...?" This is how conversations about childhood memories almost always begin, awakening images and feelings. For the homeowner of this cozy single-family house, memories of the past intertwined with new plans she had long dreamed of. Where she had once romped around in the garden as a child, she and her partner built a house for their shared future.

The architecture of this detached house focuses attention on the rural surroundings of Sursee. Large, floor-to-ceiling corner windows replace the exterior walls on two floors, fulfilling the owners' desire for bright, airy rooms. The ground floor is designed as a modern, open-plan living and dining area, with only the staircase acting as a room divider. The view of the rolling landscape can also be enjoyed from the kitchen. On the adjacent roof terrace, the indoor and outdoor spaces merge seamlessly – further enhancing the already spacious ambiance. A guest bathroom and a small storage room complete the living space. Upstairs, the couple realized their dream of a walk-in closet situated between the bedroom and bathroom.
