Refreshingly vibrant

The rooms of this new building in the Lucerne region radiate warmth and freshness. Together with us as their general contractor, this young family has realized their dream home and filled it with life.
The home is located in a beautiful residential area on the edge of the canton of Lucerne. Children play on the neighborhood streets, chalk drawings adorn the asphalt in summer, and cheerful children's voices can be heard everywhere. When the young family visited the property about two years ago and decided to build their house here, it was a completely different story. The area consisted of a large meadow with only one house. Today there are twelve. For our clients, this isn't surprising at all, as they themselves feel completely at home in their new surroundings.

On the ground floor, you pass through an entrance hall, past the guest room and storage room, into the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The old tiled stove plays a central role here. The modern kitchen was deliberately designed to be functional and is centrally located so that the cook can always keep an eye on the children playing in and around the house. A mix of old and new creates a charming ambiance – antiques sit alongside minimalist USM furniture, and an 80-year-old armchair looks particularly good in combination with the modern paintings of a Zurich artist.
Upstairs, the master bedroom and three children's bedrooms are located – all benefiting from plenty of sunlight. From their balcony, the parents enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. It's a perfect place to relax on balmy summer evenings. The future was also considered in the house's construction: the foundation for a solar power system has already been laid; only the panels need to be installed. Furthermore, two of the children's bedrooms can easily be combined into one large room if needed.
