Project description

Modern elegance with a personal touch

This modern detached house in a quiet location in the canton of Aargau exemplifies the interplay of contemporary architecture, clear spatial structures, and individual planning. Working closely with the clients, Atmoshaus created a home that consistently prioritizes openness, light, and living quality.

The building's exterior is characterized by its clear design language and harmonious integration into the surroundings. Generous windows allow light and shadow to play out in a deliberate way, lending the building a calm, almost sculptural presence. The clients' goal was a house with character – modern, light-filled, and yet comfortable.

Well-thought-out spatial concept with architectural highlights

Inside, this concept continues seamlessly. The open floor plan, light-colored materials, and flowing transitions create a spacious feel. The kitchen and dining area forms the heart of the house – a central hub for everyday life and social interaction.

In addition to its clean design, the kitchen area also impresses with its functionality: A generous storage room, integrated directly into the kitchen fronts, offers valuable storage space. The flush-mounted door in the same design blends seamlessly into the overall look and underscores the commitment to consistently combining functionality and aesthetics.

A striking architectural feature is the gallery above the dining area. It opens up the space upwards, creating a sense of spaciousness and elegantly connecting the ground and upper floors. At the same time, it enhances the light-filled, open living atmosphere throughout the entire house.

Individually planned, personally implemented

The clients approached Atmoshauswith clear ideas and their own hand-drawn sketch. They wanted a modern, minimalist house with a personal touch. Clean lines and a minimalist design language meet warm wood details and natural materials, giving the house an inviting atmosphere.

The result is an individually planned single-family house that harmonizes architecture, function and comfort – precisely tailored to the needs of the residents and implemented with high design quality.
