A feel-good house for the whole family
The family envisioned a comfortable and functional home brimming with coziness. A sunny location was a key requirement, and the unobstructed lake view was the icing on the cake. Since the mother works from home as a self-employed businesswoman, her office space had to be integrated with direct access from the living areas. Furthermore, the office space shouldn't be hidden away in a dark, dark basement lacking natural light. It wasn't just the daughter who wanted a pool in the garden; a double garage with direct access to the house was also essential for the father.
The family's wishes and needs were so specific that no existing property could meet all their criteria. So they searched for the perfect building plot on a hillside with a lake view and plenty of evening sun, and together with our architects, they fulfilled their dream of owning their own home. The striking facade, with its glossy finish, immediately catches the eye. Glass shards embedded in the surface create this effect. The garden, complete with a pool and various secluded seating areas, is simply idyllic. The view of the expansive landscape is even more breathtaking from the large balcony on the upper floor. Thanks to the large windows, the interior of this generously designed 5.5-room house also offers unobstructed views of the garden, visually expanding the already spacious living areas across the two floors. The house is accessed from the hillside on the upper floor. This sloping terrain also allowed for the integration of workspaces with direct access to the living room and the garden. Abundant natural light floods the rooms, creating a pleasantly bright and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen, living room, and dining area form a large, open-plan space. The bedrooms of the parents and their daughter are located on the upper ground floor. From the large bathroom, one has direct access to the spacious terrace, which is bathed in golden light by the evening sun. At this time, the distinctive facade shimmers particularly beautifully, and the entire property conveys a well-maintained and distinguished impression.
