Family home with a view

For this impressive new construction project, we were entrusted with all the tasks and the complete confidence of this dynamic family.
Today, the four family members and their two dachshunds enjoy three floors – and an unforgettable view of Lake Zurich. At street level are the girls' rooms, two additional rooms, a bathroom, and a dressing room. The three rooms facing the lake are enclosed on three sides and fully glazed to the south. One floor up are the living room and kitchen. The enormous, partially covered terrace doubles the living space in summer. In the nearly six-meter-deep living room, narrow window slits cleverly prevent dark corners. Everything here is arranged openly and airily; the only door leads to a storage room. On the top floor, the parents' private area, there are also only two doors, leading to the shower and toilet. The nine-meter-long room, open on three sides, is divided into a work niche, a sleeping area, and a sitting area, which connects to a wraparound terrace. “From the very beginning, this room was like an eagle’s nest for us and the crowning glory of our house. Despite the large windows, it is hardly visible from the outside and is a place of peace and spaciousness,” the couple said.

The basement was deliberately left unfinished for cost reasons. A large room for sports and relaxation is planned for the near future. But for now, the four of them are simply enjoying the abundant light and the panoramic views of the lake and mountains from every room. "Actually, our dream project was extremely risky given our financial means," the homeowner says thoughtfully. Then a smile flits across her face. "But we always believed in our goals, sought out opportunities, recognized them, and seized them. There's nothing better than having dreams and passionately making them a reality."
