Plenty of space on three levels
A house that stands out due to its unusual architectural ideas. From the street, it appears to be a single-family home with a pitched roof and parking spaces next to the entrance. Only when you walk around the house do its true dimensions become apparent. Making optimal use of the hillside location, three full stories with a total living area of 266 square meters were created. The facade recesses are striking: two terraces that, largely independent of the weather, extend the interior spaces outdoors. The ground floor, constructed of concrete and built into the hillside, contains a spacious four-room apartment and is rented out and accessed via an external staircase. The owners live on the upper and attic floors. Since the latter is at street level, access is logically from there. Around the inviting entrance hall are grouped the open, expansive living, dining, and kitchen area, a small multi-purpose room, a WC, and a bright studio with wonderful panoramic views and a door to the terrace.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light. The warm-toned parquet flooring and wood-paneled sloping ceilings create a welcoming atmosphere. A large dining table invites convivial gatherings, while the slightly secluded living area with its seating group offers a place to relax. The kitchen is dominated by a large, vibrant red cabinetry and is situated between the dining area and the terrace lounge. Thanks to the overhead weather protection, fresh air and extended barbecues can be enjoyed outdoors even on warm, rainy summer days. A staircase leads from the family living area down to the upper floor, where a vestibule provides access to the private quarters. The narrow, covered terrace on this level spans the entire width of the house and is accessible from all three rooms: the master bedroom and the two children's bedrooms. At the rear of the upper floor is the comfortable family bathroom with a bathtub. On the garden side, the two covered terraces stand out as striking recesses in the facade.
