From existing stock to a valuable investment
Apartment building Zurich
On Südstrasse in Zurich, a private investor, together with Atmoshaus redeveloped a property that had been in the family for many years. The site was originally occupied by the family home – an older apartment building with four units. The aim was to optimally utilize the property's potential and create a sustainable long-term investment.
The investor already had clear ideas and plans. Initial designs were developed in collaboration with an external architect from his personal network. Atmoshaus adopted these plans, further developed them together with the architect, and consistently brought the project to the point of construction readiness and realization. The result is an apartment building with six units: four 3.5-room apartments and two 2.5-room apartments. Architectural quality, economic efficiency, and market demands were purposefully combined.
Urban, green and close to the water
The location is a crucial factor: central yet idyllic, situated directly on the stream and just minutes from Zurich city center, on a vineyard. This combination of urban proximity and living close to nature makes the property particularly attractive for both tenants and investors.
As general contractor Atmoshaus assumed overall responsibility and ensured clear processes, transparent decisions, and reliable adherence to deadlines. Challenges were identified early and addressed with a solution-oriented approach. The result is a robust multi-family building offering high-quality living, efficient use, and sustainable value retention.
The result impressively confirmed the chosen strategy: all apartments were rented within a few weeks.
